Creative agency visionaries join Catch&Release

August 11, 2021

Today we’re excited to welcome our newest Business Development Directors, Joyce Faulkner and Nicole Stone. In their new roles at the company, Joyce and Nicole will focus on growth and building relationships directly with brands by introducing them to the Catch&Release platform.

Joyce joins us from DDB North, one of the largest and most well established advertising agency networks in the world which currently works with Molson Coors, Skittles, Johnson & Johnson, and U.S. Army to name a few. While at DDB, Joyce was the BD Director and then Chief of Management where she was a member of the North American leadership team leading pitches and implementing a cohesive new business strategy across the region. Prior to that, she spent six years at Fitzco, a McCann Worldgroup agency, where she was the SVP of New Business and responsible for building a modernized offering for future growth. With nearly fifteen years of experience in the space, she has a deep understanding of how brands can build standout campaigns that set themselves apart.

Meanwhile, Nicole joins us from Laughlin Constable, a full service ad agency that works with the ASPCA, Amtrak, and The Boys and Girls Club, among others. She served as the SVP of Business Development, and spent nearly six years at the firm helping them grow and serve brands across the country. While at Laughlin Constable, she led all business development efforts and strategy for the agency resulting in an 80% increase in new business revenue for the agency and high profile clients such as AstraZeneca and Yuengling.

We’re excited to have both of their expertise in pinpointing the needs of established, well-loved American brands and finding ways to serve them. We asked Joyce and Nicole what makes them excited about joining a technology startup like Catch&Release after spending most of their careers at agencies, and here’s what they each had to say:

“I come from the agency side where shooting original content is the norm but became captivated with found content when I read The Drum’s article about the PSA’s Mischief created for Pfizer’s Covid Vaccine and realized the authenticity found content could bring. Learning about Catch&Release’s role in the campaign, I immediately knew the platform was an industry game-changer. In the last year alone, agencies and brand teams have been challenged to become more agile, while still meeting creative demands, all with less resources. Catch&Release is the technology brands need now and I’m excited to introduce them to it.” - Joyce Faulkner

“There is an old saying in the industry that goes, ‘You can produce content that's either good, fast or cheap, pick two’. What I love about Catch&Release is that you don’t have to pick. I’m excited to be a part of the solution for marketers that is providing the ability to produce high-quality, authentic content at scale that resonates with consumers today. I’m excited to bring this solution to brands everywhere by showing them the value of Catch&Release in my new role.”  - Nicole Stone

We’re bringing together a mix of creative producers, engineers, filmmakers, licensing experts, and marketers, to make the internet licensable for brands so they can build better campaigns using authentic, found content.
