Something Big

In this spot, VW hoped to re-establish its long-time values and counter-culture brand personality, while also promoting it's new, fully-electric Minibus – the I.D. Buzz. By contrasting physically big things with "bigger" acts of kindness, and by using Catch&Release to source cinematic footage from the internet, VW and Johannes Leonardo were able to visually appeal to those customers driven by values, rather than material status.
