Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Level: Individual Contributor
Location: San Francisco 
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer


The Sales Development Representative (SDR) drives outbound efforts to identify net new accounts.  The SDR will manage inbound lead flow, collaborate with sales ops and marketing to support campaigns and mature leads, and prospect a flow of qualified opportunities. The SDR sets up customer meetings for Catch&Release Account Directors, continuously connects with current customers, and manages a set of small accounts not covered by Account Directors.

As the SDR, you are the initial impression on a prospect. You are responsible for a positive first experience, setting the stage for an effective sales team follow-up.  You are to articulate the Catch&Release value proposition to brands and agencies while driving excitement, creativity, and relationship-building into every customer call.  Your goal is to meet and exceed activity metrics for outbound calls, confirmed meetings, opportunities, and prospecting time. The position’s territory will be the US market.

What You’ll Work On

    • Research existing accounts, identify key players, schedule sales meetings
    • Identify new accounts, introduce Catch&Release, secure a call for the Account Director
    • Manage inbound sales requests via phone, email, and social media
    • Disseminate opportunities with customer contact information to the sales team
    • Track and Forecast all sales activities using Salesforce.com
    • Proactively look for opportunities to improve, optimize end-to-end lead management and other sales and marketing processes
    • Manage expiring licenses, and assemble reports for sales team to deliver

Who You Are

You are a self-starter with a high-energy, positive phone presence, a long track record of effective, credible lead follow-up, and sales development at multiple levels within an organization:

    • An inside sales person with 1+ years prior experience (within a SaaS company is a plus)
    • Fearless – willing to take intelligent risks
    • Successful working in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven, and high-volume environment
    • Adaptable in working in a dynamic, fast-paced start up team environment
    • Articulate with good business acumen
    • Fluent in Salesforce.com
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • A “Can do” person
    • Able to manage multiple priorities and work in a start-up environment
    • A college graduate with a B.A. or B.S. degree
    • Within a commutable distance to our office in SOMA, San Francisco
