  • Full-Stack Software Engineer
    About the Role
    Catch&Release Engineering is looking for a full stack engineer to join our team. You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for the frontend and backend code in our system.
     
    You’ll be expected to pick up new concepts quickly and will likely make your first commit on your first day. We expect that all our engineers will provide feedback around how we can learn, grow, and make the engineering department continue to get better.

  • Marketing Manager
    About the Role
    To support our growing business, we are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the effective communication of our product and company value props across digital channels. This includes the management of campaigns from strategy and implementation to analysis, optimization and reporting. 
     
    As part of this role, you will also have a focus on sales enablement, ensuring that what our sales people are saying aligns with what our campaigns are promoting. This is one of the most collaborative roles in the company as you will be working with Communications, Sales, Product Management, Customer Success and Operations team, as well as directly with the Executive team. You will be a self-starter who is a creative problem solver, detail-oriented, loves testing and optimizing, and enjoys new ways to drive user-growth. 
     
    Key Responsibilities
    • Create, execute and report on the success of demand and lead generation programs
    • Continuously generate ideas to improve Catch&Release’s campaign performance including campaign strategy, audience development, creative optimization and bidding
    • Regularly monitor and optimize performance across all digital channels.
    • Recommend tests and ensure alignment across other digital marketing channels
    • Work closely with product, sales and operations teams on platform messaging and program development, and ensure messaging is consistent and up-to-date across channels
    • Understand the needs of customers and the details of our product to ensure that sales teams are equipped with the most effective tools and materials
    • Ensure that all product collateral reflects a single voice and market positioning, as it evolves over time
    • Establish reporting and benchmarks for performance to present to leadership on a monthly basis
    • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines
    • Develop and communicate marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to leadership
     
    Qualifications
    • 4+ years of marketing experience
    • Direct experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads Manager preferred
    • Experience working at or marketing to agencies
    • BA/BS required
    • Strong creative and copywriting skills; must be able to develop content independently as well as collaborating with Catch&Release experts.
    • Experience in developing and executing successful paid social and SEO campaigns to drive growth and lead generation.
    • Strong analytical skills; proven ability to effectively analyze data, communicate insights and optimize campaigns
    • Ability to distill complex products into easily understandable information.
    • Composed demeanor in a fast-paced, high-pressure, dynamic environment 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to be a self-starter and collaborative team player 
  • Head of Engineering

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced engineering leader to help shape our technology strategy and scale our engineering team to accelerate the business towards our vision. You will play a critical role in creating a first of its kind suite of products that leverage AI, machine learning, computer vision, and customer-driven design to enable advertisers to discover and license user-generated content at the scale of the internet. This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage company that's already highly productive, results-oriented, and team-driven, creating a strong foundation to build from. This role sits on the Executive team reporting to the CEO, and will be a close partner to our Head of Product and Head of Operations.

     

    What You’ll Do

    ● Build relationships with and earn the respect of our current engineering team while recruiting world-class, diverse engineering talent with effective hiring strategies

    ● Develop and maintain our technical roadmap alongside our product roadmap, ensuring architectural decision-making and day-to-day execution is aligned with the strategic objectives of the company

    ● Partner with the Product team to assess engineering implications of roadmap features

    ● Partner with the Product team to ensure our data, analytics, and reporting systems are built to become a key competitive advantage

    ● Develop key goals and metrics to gauge engineering team performance

    ● Work with stakeholders across the company and with the executive team to ensure that engineering is in alignment with every function within the business

    ● Participate in potential partnership discussions and technical evaluations

    ● Prioritize, plan, and budget engineering resources to meet the needs of the company

    ● Ensure best practices for security and compliance are met by our platform

    ● As a member of our senior leadership team, you will represent engineering in executive decision making as well as with our board and investors

     

    What You Bring

    ● Proven track record of building and leading strong engineering teams

    ● Experience successfully scaling an early-stage startup’s engineering team from a handful to 20+

    ● You’re great at using technology to creatively solve large scale complex problems for customers and the business

    ● You’re technical, hands-on, and willing to roll up the sleeves to support the team as needed

    ● Technical experience across a wide array of areas including Ruby on Rails, Javascript, React, DevOps, databases/data pipelines/data warehousing, and cloud infrastructure

    ● Strong presence; good communicator both externally as well as internally at the executive, board, and investor level

    ● Meaningful experience as a software engineer before becoming a manager

    ● Experience architecting complex data searches for customer products

    ● Experience using recommendation engines to create personalized user experiences
