About the Role

Catch&Release Engineering is looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team. You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for the frontend and backend code in our system.

You’ll be expected to pick up new concepts quickly and will likely make your first commit on your first day. We expect that all our engineers will provide feedback on how we can learn, grow, and make the engineering department continue to get better.

Marketing Manager

About the Role

To support our growing business, we are looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective communication of our product and company value props across social channels. This includes the management of campaigns from strategy and implementation to analysis, optimization, and reporting.

This person is a social marketing wiz who is equally comfortable speaking to and understanding creative needs as they are presenting data and working with analytics. They should be highly collaborative, creative, and analytical. Able to find the nugget of data that could inform a new messaging strategy or creative test. As one of the most collaborative roles in the company you will be working with the Communications, Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and Operations team, and report directly into the Head of Marketing. You will be a self-starter who is a creative problem solver, detail-oriented, loves testing and optimizing, and enjoys new ways to drive user-growth.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage acquisition marketing campaigns across social channels
  • Own end-to-end execution of campaigns, including creative briefs, implementation, optimization, reporting, and analysis
  • Contributor to the planning and strategy of our growth marketing portfolio, building tactics and playbooks to efficiently scale multiple channels
  • Monitor KPIs and own reporting to effectively communicate performance and analyses to the broader team and leadership
  • Own process for iterative testing to optimize performance

Account Director

About the Role:
Catch&Release’s sales leadership is seeking a dynamic Account Director to join our growing sales team. This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage company that's already highly productive, results-oriented, and team-driven, creating a strong foundation to build from. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with advertising agencies and marketers. Successful candidates will be motivated, enthusiastic, self-starters who are able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve / exceed quarterly revenue quotas by successfully working across active accounts, while maintaining continuity of clients’ relationship with Catch&Release.
  • Develop list of targeted Contacts and Accounts with sales leadership and track progress.
  • Screen potential new project deals, analyze opportunities, deal requirements, revenue potential & profitability, collaborate with project management teams to execute.
  • Continually demonstrate knowledge and support of C&R’s mission, vision, values and standards, policies and procedures, operations, workflows, confidentiality, and spirit.
  • Maintain an active following of the industry and technology developments as they relate to our customers, prospects, and competitors.
  • Provide customer and market advice internally to all functional areas as needed.
  • Take part in recurring departmental training, maintaining current knowledge of Product offering, messaging, and value proposition.
  • Service and drive customer satisfaction for accounts in territory.
  • Drive mindshare and market share gains across agencies through consistent and strategic coverage plans.

About the Role:
The Project Manager role sits within the Operations group at Catch&Release and reports to the VP of Operations. You will work closely with all facets of the Operations teams including the Curation, Clearance, and Business Affairs teams and will be an essential contributor to the success of our Customer projects. You will be a contact for all project related Customer interactions and communications, managing the complete project cycle from Customer kick-off through completion of Licensing.

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and be customer success focused. You are motivated to support and be a key stakeholder in the successful execution of our customer projects. Success is measured by projects being executed on schedule, on budget, and maintaining revenue and margin targets against the estimated scope. The project manager role is a critical stakeholder in contributing to the C&R platform development and workflow efficiencies. As such, it will be critical to enable a cross functional mindset with both the sales and product teams.

What You’ll Do:


  • Determine Project workloads
  • Communicate all project needs and terms to internal Curation and Clearance teams as required
  • Expert use of the C&R Platform (“Platform”)
  • Contribute to performance management and workflow efficiencies


  • Communicate of all aspects of the project with Customer, including unit (shot) status, budget, change control, and escalation/conflict resolution
  • Collaborate with Business Affairs to create project specific contracts, agreements & model releases
  • Validate Curation and Licensing Brief and add into the Platform as required
  • Manage all relevant Project budget estimates into the C&R Platform and Resource tracking tool for Curation, Clearance, and Licensing (as applicable)
  • Coordinate and lead kickoff meetings with Customers and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate and provide C&R Platform support to Customers as needed through the Curation and Clearance phases
  • Define and contribute to project metrics for assessment upon project completion
  • Create recommendations for process efficiencies, including client relationships and Platform improvements
  • Weekly Status reporting to C&R management

  • Technical aptitude with a wide range of experience in adapting to and learning new software integrations and platforms

Resource Manager

Level: Manager

Location: West Coast Preferred - Remote

Reports To: Director of Curation 

About the Role:
The Resource Manager handles all aspects of scheduling resources for the Curation department, including maintaining variable employee availability, bookings, and project casting, while also providing capacity transparency to Sales and other project stakeholders. The Resource Manager maximizes team utilization while also supporting and maintaining approved internal initiatives. In this role you will assign the work with respect to project scope and specs and team-member expertise, and also play an active role in the recruitment and retention of the overall Curation community.

What You’ll Work On:

  • With stakeholder consultation, the Resource Manager will determine what projects get scheduled with consideration to all team needs.
  • Attend recurring team meetings to ensure up-to-the minute project pipeline knowledge so that projects efficiently flow through the teams
  • Own, maintain, and use current scheduling software to manage and assess contractor availability, forecast availability for Account teams, and maintain utilization dashboards
  • Book variable Part-time Employee using a system typically used in the Production / Post-Production world (while also identifying areas for process improvements and communication across stakeholders)
  • Foster relationships with our variable Part-time Employee to maintain connectivity
  • Work closely with People Ops and Director of Curation on maintaining variable Part-time Employee status and overall relationship with C&R
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and communicate contingency planning to stakeholders and C&R Customers
  • Spearhead and support in recruitment efforts, as well as vet candidates through the interview process.
  • Support and facilitate, develop and maintain onboarding training protocol and sessions (Curation University)
  • Develop best practices and protocols, including but not limited to creation of knowledge base articles and training materials for Curation and cross-functional support
