About the Role

Catch&Release Engineering is looking for a full-stack engineer to join our team. You’ll report to the VP of Engineering and be responsible for the frontend and backend code in our system.

You’ll be expected to pick up new concepts quickly and will likely make your first commit on your first day. We expect that all our engineers will provide feedback on how we can learn, grow, and make the engineering department continue to get better.

Account Director

About the Role:
Catch&Release’s sales leadership is seeking a dynamic Account Director to join our growing sales team. This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage company that's already highly productive, results-oriented, and team-driven, creating a strong foundation to build from. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with advertising agencies and marketers. Successful candidates will be motivated, enthusiastic, self-starters who are able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve / exceed quarterly revenue quotas by successfully working across active accounts, while maintaining continuity of clients’ relationship with Catch&Release.
  • Develop list of targeted Contacts and Accounts with sales leadership and track progress.
  • Screen potential new project deals, analyze opportunities, deal requirements, revenue potential & profitability, collaborate with project management teams to execute.
  • Continually demonstrate knowledge and support of C&R’s mission, vision, values and standards, policies and procedures, operations, workflows, confidentiality, and spirit.
  • Maintain an active following of the industry and technology developments as they relate to our customers, prospects, and competitors.

Senior Product Designer

Location: Remote

About the Role:
The Senior Product Designer we hire for this role will own all aspects of design across our platform. This means you will design products and experiences for our Agency and Brand advertisers (demand side), our creative contributors who license their user generated content (supply side), and for our internal teams who connect the two sides of our business together.

You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to turn complex problems into intuitive user experiences that solve the needs of our customers while driving the company towards achieving our objectives.

You’ll have a tremendous impact on the company and be able to see your work get to market quickly. We value someone who is creative, self-driven, customer-oriented, organized, can understand the big picture, and doesn’t let any details slip through the cracks. This position will report directly to our Head of Product.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deeply understand our customers’ needs and pain points
  • Work at the intersection of interaction design, visual design, customer empathy, business strategy, and product thinking
  • Own the visual, UI, and UX design of all products across our platform
  • Translate quantitative data and qualitative insights from user research and stakeholder feedback into hypotheses and informed product and design decisions
  • Be a partner to Product in identifying requirements, use cases, and user journeys
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes to convey your design vision
  • Quickly iterate on your designs based on design reviews, user testing, data analysis, and customer feedback

Senior Product Manager - B2B

Location: Remote

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help own the product roadmap for the B2B side of our marketplace where you will enhance the creative process for advertisers and brands so they can create more compelling stories for their audiences using UGC.

You will be responsible for the research, creation, execution, and long term success of a significant portion of our product platform which is critical to our strategy as a company. This will include leveraging customer-driven design to build innovative workflows and tools for creating with UGC, as well as driving our integration with existing creative products so Catch&Release can meet customers where they already are.

You’ll have a tremendous impact on the company and be able to see your work get to market quickly. We value someone who is creative, self-driven, analytical, organized, can understand the big picture, and doesn’t let any details slip through the cracks.

What You’ll Do:

  • Run user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments to inform product direction for an entirely new marketplace
  • Deeply understand our customers’ needs and pain points
  • Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to drive the application of technologies like machine learning, computer vision, and recommendation engines to solve our business objectives
  • Work closely with the design team to create intuitive user experiences that inspire millions of content creators to use Catch&Release to license their content
  • Develop and execute an impact-driven product roadmap while completely owning the products you are responsible for from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and iteration

Clearance Specialist

Level: Individual Contributor

Location: Remote

Reports to: Director of Clearances & Acquisitions

About the role:
The ​Clearance Specialist​ works collaboratively with the Director of Clearances & Acquisitions,
Project Managers, Curators and fellow Clearance team members to facilitate the acquisition and
clearance of various media for Customer projects.

The Clearance Specialist should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the content rights
and clearance space for media or related assets. The ideal candidate should understand
content ownership, usage rights, permissions, and industry standards for content & IP licensing
in advertising. The Clearance Specialist should know how to negotiate clearances on time and
on budget

What you'll do:

  • Assess and evaluate assigned unit (shot) for “True Source”
  • Assess and evaluate strategies for determining Copyright and Model, Real Property and Intellectual Property (“IP”) holders
  • Provide counsel to the clearance team on clearance & copyright negotiation strategies
  • Expert use of the C&R platform in all Clearance and Licensing states
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of industry, terms, trends, and best practices
  • Finalize all Contributor agreements and releases as necessary per unit (shot)
  • Lead Clearance role of Customer projects as required
  • Monitor unit (shot) and Project assignments on a daily basis in the C&R platform, including updating all relevant fields, reach out logs, and status
  • Communicate to Copyright, IP, Model, and Real Property holders to validate Path to Clearance and receive written approval to clear the copyright and releases
  • Negotiate Fees (if applicable) for Copyright, IP, Model, and Real Property holders to validate Path to Clearance and receive written approval to clear the copyright and releases
  • Collaborate with​ Business Affairs​ on delivery of final documentation for sub-licensing to the Customer
  • Create recommendations for process efficiencies and Product improvements
  • Support C&R external supplier relationships as required
  • Develop written support and knowledge base documentation

Curation Specialist

Level: Individual Contributor, Part-time Hourly

Location: Remote

Reports to: Director of Curation

About the role:
As a Curation Specialist, you will be responsible for curating content from the worldwide web-based on our client’s creative briefs. You will become an expert on Catch&Release’s Platform, an application that tracks the curation, clearance and licensing of found and User Generated Content. You should be a curious problem solver with an eye for high-end visual aesthetics. The Curation Specialist collaborates on projects with a Curation Lead and other team members to provide content for advertising spots produced by well-known agencies and brands.

What you'll do:

  • Responsibly search for video, photography and audio content via source platforms, such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Twitter
  • Execute on search direction provided by the Curation Lead heading up the project
    Analyze brief and client materials via Catch&Release Platform
  • Load on-brief and true-source content to Catch&Release Platform and trim shots to relevant moments
  • Determine accurate contact information for content-owners
  • Communicate regularly with the Curation Team via Slack throughout the work day

Sales Operations Coordinator

Level: Associate

Reports to: Sales / Operations

About the role:
We are seeking a Sales Operations Coordinator to support our end-to-end sales process of project bids for our customers. As part of the Catch&Release Sales/Operations team, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the Catch&Release Sales Team. This will include developing sales bids, soliciting key stakeholder approvals, and preparing and/or reviewing customer bids for the sales team for presentation to customers. The role includes coordinating with the Account Directors, Business Development Directors and Partnership Directors as well as the Resource Manager, Curation, and Clearance stakeholders. You will ensure bids are created accurately, quickly, and delivered in a timely manner to customers.

The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and focused. You are motivated to support and be a key stakeholder in the successful execution of our customer bids and onboarding workflow. Your success will be measured by bids being executed in an expeditious manner, and consistent monitoring and tracking of results with the goal of constant improvement and efficiency. The Sales Operations Coordinator is a critical stakeholder in the success of the Catch&Release sales pipeline.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the project bid lifecycle, which includes verifying the accuracy of bids with the operational stakeholders and collaborating with the sales team for delivery of bids to customers
  • Tracking project bid data and managing applicable reports in Salesforce
  • Analytics on project bid data, win rates, loss rates
  • Maintenance of pricing books and catalogs
  • Maintenance of current bid templates and creation of new bid templates through software integrated with Salesforce
  • Document retention and reporting functions related to sent and executed bids as well as non-disclosure agreements

What you bring: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
    Working knowledge and use of Salesforce
    Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
  • Proposal management experience
  • Demonstration of previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Relevant certifications a plus
