How do I use Content Genie?
Upload your creative brief on catchandrelease.com/content-genie. You can also start right from your Project space inside Catch+Release.
What should my brief include?
You don’t need a special brief for Content Genie. If you already have a creative brief for your campaign or project, just upload that and Content Genie will identify the relevant parts for your content needs.
If you want to write a brief specifically for Content Genie, start with the big picture: describe your campaign’s overall theme, the audience you’re trying to reach, and the purpose of the story. If you have storyboards, a script, or any visual references, include them. Share any must-haves, no-gos, and notes about tone or style.
The best briefs give clear direction while leaving room for creative discovery. Be open to “wild card” ideas that might tell your story in unexpected ways—sometimes those surprises are where the magic happens.
Do I need a Catch+Release account?
You can try Content Genie without an account. Content Genie will analyze your brief and show up to 2 topics. To unlock your full topic results and receive content deliveries for each, you’ll need to create an account or sign in. It’s completely free to create an account and use Content Genie. You only pay for the content you license.
How much does it cost?
For a limited time, Content Genie is completely free to use. You only pay for the content you license. You can run Content Genie on as many briefs as you want, for as many projects as you want.
What does Content Genie actually do?
It analyzes your brief, identifies creative themes, and finds content from our Creator Marketplace that matches your campaign’s intent. Think of it as your own AI-powered curation assistant.
Does it read images or links from my brief?
Not yet—it currently analyzes text only.
How long does it take?
You’ll usually get Content Genie's picks in about an hour.
How many results will I get?
Content Genie will find up to 50 high-quality matches for each creative topic identified in your brief. Content Genie only selects content that meets your brief, so you may receive fewer than 50 shots if there aren't enough strong matches from our Creator Marketplace.
What if you don’t have good matches in the Creator Marketplace?
If Content Genie can’t find enough good content from our Creator Marketplace, you can hire our expert curators for a deeper, custom search across the internet. You can also find content on your own and add it to your project.
What are the “search suggestions” shown for each topic?
They’re optimized queries that show you how Content Genie searches our Creator Marketplace for content that meets your brief. You can use them to check that Content Genie is on the right track, and to curate on your own while you're waiting for Content Genie's delivery.
Is my brief used to train AI models?
Your brief will not be used to train an LLM. We use Google’s Gemini LLM to analyze the brief and generate optimized search queries, but the brief contents and the AI’s responses are not used by Google to train or improve their models. C+R has never and will never share your brief with any 3rd party other than Gemini for processing. You can learn more about Google’s data use policies here.
Who can see my brief?
Your brief is private and only visible to you and team members or collaborators you add to your project. Authorized Catch+Release team members may access your brief to provide support, investigate an issue, or ensure the tool is functioning correctly.
